Exit M6 Junction 36 and head for Kendal (8 miles). Keep on A591 (avoid south Kendal). At the roundabout north of Kendal, head for Crook on the B5284 (3&miles). Take 2nd left after the Sun Inn, narrow lane with sign numbered 46, opposite a bungalow, then after approx. quarter of a mile, turn right over a cattlegrid, up the hill and then sharp right again, over a 2nd cattlegrid and straight ahead. Please PARK by the wall overlooking the garden.
